Glory-of-the-Snow

Glory-of-the-Snow (Chionodoxa luciliae)

This month, Spring has truly arrived to Kansas City. Spring is perhaps the most beautiful season in this midwestern city, with flowering trees and bushes presenting showy petals in bright yellows, pinks, and purples.

What a delightful flower

You are far south enough to enjoy the spring buds and blossoms earlier than some other parts of the Midwest. The blue colour is very pleasing!

Welcome to DCPB. We've got Missouri covered now. I've only been here a week and a half. Surprisingly, there was no Chicago DCPB so my son started one today. He's http://dailyphotobutcherfortheworld.blogspot.com/ , I'm http://saintlouismodailyphoto.blogspot.com/ .

We have family in the KC area - looking forward to seeing your images of the area.
