Sunny Days Are Here Again

Dreaming of Maxfield Parrish, Loose Park, Kansas City, Mo

Sunny days and dry nights are especially welcome in Kansas and Missouri lately. After weeks of continuous rain, some flooding, and most notably, the devastating tornado that hit Greenburg, Ks., we're relishing puffy, pink clouds and blue skies.

Wow, did you hit the timing of this one right. The picture is filled with a sense of motion of the roiling clouds. It looks like a movie screen and makes me expect to keep seeing changing clouds blowing through.

BTW, off to Philly tomorrow for a niece's graduation. Of course, that's the home office of Toynbee tiles. My camera will be at the ready.

Thanks, Bob! I'm going to try getting downtown this weekend to scout a photo or two of KC's toynbee tile!

Actually, I thought of an old master's oil when I first saw the image. It is very nice.

Great shot! All you need is a harp and a swing and an Ionic column for the full Parrish effect.
