The Beautiful, the Scholarly, ...

... the Kansas City Public Library. The former First National Bank on the corner of 10th & Baltimore in downtown Kansas City became the new home of the Central Library in 2004. The Library raised $50 million to treat the beautiful old building to a facelift inside and out -- although the building already offered a classic mix of marble columns and ornate mouldings.

Thank you. First of all where there are books it's possible to breath culture, then this public Library looks like magnificent. Last but not the least your photo is great !

This is a beautifully captured interior. And what a great building for a library
