Springtime Ice Skating
Ice Terrace @ Crown Center, Kansas CityEven with the warmish weather we've been having in Kansas City, the ice rink is still lit up and open through this weekend.
The Crown Center Ice Terrace has been around for 30+ years and is the only public ice skating rink in the city.

That is so nice. I was in Kansas City last summer, and it was so hot! My friend Steve told me that winter could be brutal up there. I figure that it's just a different way of life. Talking about contrast. Talking about real seasons. That said, I was in Winnipeg, Canada this winter. Everybody around me was scpetic. "Say what? Visiting Winterpeg in January? You must be crazy!?!"
It was obviously coooold, but I did have a blast there.
I really wish I could visit KCI on more time soon!

Hey waldo, did'nt know you were from Kansas city, your blog reminded me of the good old days, one of my favourite places in the US.I used to drive down on weekends and have a good relaxing weekend. Great pictures.
