Boot Scootin' Weekend
Okay, so there wasn't any dancing this weekend, at least not on my part ... but there was plenty of it in Wicked, which Owen and I saw on Friday night. The show, which was playing at the Music Hall, was an impressive production; the costumes, the performances, everything was incredibly top-notch. [Review from the KC Star]
And, who doesn't want to know why the Wicked Witch of the West was "wicked." This was a very timely story of how people are false, how when things start to fall apart, societies will look for a scapegoat, and how people believe there is security and happiness in conformity and ignorance. Yep, you get all that from Wicked!

9 Shout-outs to Waldo Oiseau:
I love fancy western boots! Great shot.
Don't worry about brussells sprouts! CSAs always give you many different things each time, not one thing all at once. It's fun! This is my second year with my CSA farm. Thanks for visiting.
I'm still lovin' the boots - yellow would be fun.
another word for this is "persecution".
I had never seen so many different colors in boots. And the design is unbelievable. Maybe I would never wear them around here but I reckon they are beautiful.
I thinks there are the most butiful shoe i ever seen. I don't have somany nice shoes. sometimes you loose a lot to things that just happen. but I am a luck because i don't loose the shoes i have.
Also, I thout that shoe likes that are mades of leathers, witch comes from a cow. Do you have oranch and blue and green cows in Kansada City? That is crazy. I needs to come see that!
I love these boots! But, I can't wear those pointy toes - ouch!!
I would certainly imagine you might be persecuted if you wore neon green cowboy boots, yes? :)
