The Land of Retirees

Theatre Discussion in the Park, Ashland, Oregon

Well, I'm finally back from vacation. I had every intention of being a good little blogger, but given that I can't even manage a post a day in my real life, you really think I'd be good at photoblogging while on vacation?

After a few days in Portland, we drove south to Ashland, Oregon, to watch plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The performances were incredible, and it's not surprise, as OSF is one of the oldest and longest-running theatres in the U.S. With three stages, it puts on at least 10 plays each 8-month season. So, it's definitely a destination vacation, with the average visitor seeing 2-4 plays. We saw five plays over the past week, with Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge" being my favorite.

Anyhow, I hope to start posting again soon. Lots of stuff to catch up on.
