Building on the Arts
The Downtown Kansas City skyline in changing yet again, this time with the construction of the new Kauffman Center. It will be home to the Kansas City Symphony, Lyric Opera, and Kansas City Ballet. We also await to see what traveling shows might come through! Here are some more interesting pics up close of the construction.
Ground was broken in 2006, with an expected completion date in 2011.

Wow. The new Kauffman Center downtown will be a nice place for a lot of people to spend some time. It looks like it is going to be huge.
