God's Slide

Every day at 1:00p the Independence Temple holds a Daily Prayer for Peace. Pretty nice concept, even if you aren't religious. The temple was dedicated in 1994, with its stainless steel spire evocative of a natilus shell. The temple includes a selection of religious art, stained glass, and a Japanese-style meditation garden.

Interesting bit of reading on the group.

Aww...I saw the "Every day at 1:00p..." thing, and thought it was going to continue with "...the employees of this building ride to the top in a glass elevator, and slide down a giant corkscrew slide inside!" And then it didn't say that, and I got sad.

Ha, wouldn't that be the best thing ever! I could certainly use a little sliding in the middle of my work day.
